Exam Timelines & Admit Card Status

Exams are scheduled from September 20 to October 24, 2025.

Eligibility / Age Limit

For most MTS posts: 18-25 years. For some categories, this limit may extend up to 27 years.
Exam Pattern & Selection Process

Phase 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Section 1: Maths & Reasoning — 20 + 20 questions, qualifying only, no negative marking.
• Section 2: General Knowledge & English — 25 + 25 questions, 45 minutes, negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. -
Phase 2 (only for Havaldar): Physical Efficiency Test (PET) with criteria such as height, weight and running.
What Candidates Should Do Now

Regularly check ssc.gov.in for updates on the admit card release and exact exam city details.

Once admit cards are out, download them promptly using registration number + date of birth/password, and verify all details (photo, roll number, exam centre, etc.).

Practice via mock tests and previous year papers to be exam-ready.
