With Shah Rukh Khan winning his first National Film Award for Jawan, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took to social media to express pride and admiration. They referenced his iconic dialogue from Om Shanti Om — “Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai…” — in a tribute post celebrating his achievement.
Their message read:
“You didn’t just say it. You meant it, you lived it! SRK, your first National Award is a moment for history, and your Knight Riders couldn’t be prouder. To our heartbeat, our boss man, our 12th man, our forever King — this one’s as special as you are.”
SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, also joined the celebration, praising his dedication and announcing that she would design a special display for his National Award.
On the work front, SRK’s next big project is King, directed by Siddharth Anand, in which he stars alongside Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, and his daughter Suhana Khan.
